Leila White ThomasConsultant, Operations Manager
Leila Thomas joined PMA with a professional background spanning both the private and nonprofit sectors. At PMA, Leila assists clients in all aspects of organizational development, including fundraising, strategic planning, board development, and marketing/communications. As Operations Manager, Leila serves as PMA’s “air traffic controller” – responsible for firm-wide project management matters, internal/external communications, and client outreach. Most recently, Leila worked in development for Marbles Kids Museum in Raleigh, NC where responsibilities included building relationships with public and private funding partners, grant writing, event planning and staging, project management, and board relations. Prior to Marbles, Leila worked in operations and finance for San Francisco-based nonprofit WestEd. Leila spent the early years of her career with J.P. Morgan’s Wealth Management team in San Francisco, focusing on investment analysis, business development, portfolio management, and philanthropic giving.
Leila graduated with distinction from the University of Virginia with a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Spanish.
