Case Study

Down Syndrome Association of Charlotte

PMA worked with Down Syndrome Association of Charlotte in 2009 and 2010 to help them identify an optimal staffing design, source candidates for those positions and design a fundraising platform to help them advance the mission of the organization.

PMA conducted a full organizational assessment and led the board through a planning process that resulted in the hiring of two part-time positions – Program Director and Development Director. In late 2010, the organization’s Buddy Walk exceeded goal by more than 40% (from $80k to $140k), and the new staffing design and fundraising platform was credited as having made a big difference.
