PMA’s Robinson Joins Foundation For The Carolinas
PMA consultant Deviré Robinson has joined Foundation For The Carolinas (FFTC) as Vice President of the Center for Nonprofit Sustainability. Robinson’s work will focus on stewardship and endowment fund management for FFTC’s nonprofit clients.
Robinson began working with PMA Consulting in early 2014. His time with PMA included work with Fellowship Hall (Greensboro), Carolina Adoption Services (Greensboro), Safe Kids Midlands (Columbia, SC), Williamsburg Hospital Foundation (Kingstree, SC), and Men’s Shelter of Charlotte.
“Working with PMA was a wonderful experience and a great introduction into the nonprofit industry,” Robinson said. “I’m grateful to have had the unique opportunity to work across various sectors assisting organizations in thinking critically about strategic planning, board engagement, and fund development. I learned so much about the way nonprofits operate and the key issues affecting them. Patton is a great mentor and he encouraged me to fully engage with the clients. I will certainly miss working with the PMA team.”
The Elizabeth City, NC native is well-versed in conducting strategic analyses to evaluate organizational policies, procedural improvements, and risks facing businesses. His work and dedication are greatly appreciated by all members of PMA Consulting.
“Deviré was an outstanding contributor to the PMA team, and certainly had a very positive impact on many nonprofit organizations across the region,” said Patton McDowell, PMA President. “He brought great intelligence, strategy and understanding to the nonprofit clients we serve and the projects he managed. We will miss having him directly involved in our work, but are glad his efforts will continue to strengthen the nonprofit community through the Foundation For The Carolinas.”
