PMA’s David Ibsen to join Cannon School Development Team
PMA Director David Ibsen has accepted a position at the Cannon School in Concord, NC, to serve as the Director of Development and Annual Fund in the school’s Office of Advancement.
“While sad to see him go, I’m really excited for David and this opportunity at Cannon School” noted PMA President Patton McDowell. “He’s been a fantastic contributor to so many projects for our firm, and literally helped build much of the infrastructure that supports our expanding operation. I know he’s excited to apply many of his ideas and experience in the great setting that exists at Cannon.”
Ibsen began his work at PMA in 2010 as a Fellow before taking on roles of both Associate Director and Director with the firm. He worked closely with dozens of organizations across the state, and was instrumental in most of the search advisory projects the firm completed.
“The past six years at PMA has taught me a tremendous amount about the nonprofit community, as well as how these organizations are supported,” said Ibsen. “I’ve been fortunate to have worked with over 100 organizations throughout the region in a variety of capacities. I will certainly miss the PMA team, but am excited to build on what I’ve learned and continue to make an impact on the community.”
The PMA team would like to thank Ibsen for his work and dedication to both the firm and our clients during his six years of service. Ibsen begins his new role with Cannon School on June 28.
