PMA Welcomes Dr. Huff to Its Team
PMA is happy to announce the addition of Dr. Olson Huff to its team of consultants. Dr. Huff will serve as Senior Consultant, Health Affairs & Government Relations, providing leadership of the firm’s health and legislative affairs services.
With an extensive background in medicine (pediatrics), children’s issues, philanthropy and legislative affairs, Dr. Olson Huff brings significant practical experience to his role at PMA, having previously served as Medical Director of Mission Children’s Hospital in Asheville, NC where he founded the Olson Huff Center for Child Development.
Among his many professional and volunteer roles, Dr. Huff is current Board Chair of the North Carolina Partnership for Children (Smart Start) and Co-Chair of the North Carolina Institute of Medicine’s Task Force on Early Childhood Obesity. He also serves on a number of other boards and was recently appointed by the Governor of North Carolina to the NC Early Childhood Advisory Council. Honored by many renowned institutions, Dr. Huff is a recipient of The Order of the Long Leaf Pine, North Carolina’s highest civilian award.
Dr. Huff will help PMA launch its new Governmental Affairs service line, assisting nonprofits from all sectors better understand and navigate the local, state and federal government systems to effect change, advance mission and drive dollars.
