PMA Pro Bono Project set to support Charlotte Area Nonprofit
Patton McDowell & Associates (PMA) is pleased to announce the launch of the PMA Pro Bono Project – an annual effort to identify an exceptional nonprofit organization poised to make a greater impact the Greater Charlotte community. The project is in celebration of today’s National Philanthropy Day.
In February 2012, PMA will provide pro bono consulting services to one nonprofit organization that meets eligibility requirements. Organizations will be asked to fill out an application that will help PMA to best align a service to the selected organization’s needs. Services offered for this project are: strategic advisory, development assessment, coaching and evaluation, and staff and board development. PMA will assemble an advisory panel to help evaluate applications and select the organization.
“The Charlotte region has a wealth of nonprofit organizations serving vital causes in every sector of philanthropy. In the spirit of National Philanthropy Day, it is our hope to give back not only to a single organization, but also to elevate that organization as it serves the Charlotte community as a whole,” said Patton McDowell, President.
To be eligible for the PMA Pro Bono Project, the organization must be a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization located within the six-county Greater Charlotte region. The nonprofit will have a maximum operating budget of $250,000, a minimum of one full-time staff member, a board of directors, and a mission that benefits the Charlotte community.
