AFP Charlotte October Events
AFP Charlotte is excited to announce two programs in October, both focusing on Planned Giving.
On October 19th, AFP Charlotte welcomes Kathryn Miree for a discussion with the AFP Senior Forum entitled “The Transformational Power of Planned Gifts on Major Gifts.” In this session, participants will learn how planned giving programs can help strengthen donor relationships and programs. Participants will leave the workshop with a new perspective on their role and opportunities for new gifts. Networking and registration on the 19th will begin at 8:00am at the Harris Conference Center on the CPCC Harris Campus. This session is limited to AFP members of the Senior Forum, made up of individuals with at least 10 years of fundraising experience and/or have their CFRE or ACFRE.
On October 23rd, AFP will be hosting a webinar from 1:00pm-2:30pm at the Roman Catholic Diocese. The title of the webinar is “The Planned Giving Toolbox” led by Greg Hammond, CFP, CPA. This detailed training will encompass case studies that will provide an introduction to traditional and non-traditional planned giving tools and strategies. This webinar will help describe planned giving vehicles, helping participants to maximize planned giving opportunities. This webinar is targeted to anyone from beginners to experienced development professionals.
