PMA Announces 2013 Pro Bono Project

Patton McDowell & Associates (PMA) is excited to present the PMA Pro Bono Project – an annual effort to identify an exceptional nonprofit organization poised to make a greater impact the Greater Charlotte community.

In February 2013, PMA will provide pro bono consulting services to one nonprofit organization that meets eligibility requirements. Organizations will be asked to fill out an application that will help PMA to best align a service to the selected organization’s needs. Strategic advisory services will be offered. In addition, PMA will assemble an advisory panel to help evaluate applications and select the organization.

“The Charlotte region has a wealth of nonprofit organizations serving vital causes in every sector of philanthropy.  It is our hope to give back not only to a single organization, but also to elevate that organization as it serves the Charlotte community as a whole,” said Patton McDowell, President.

The organization must be a 501(c)3 nonprofit located within the Greater Charlotte region. The organization should have a maximum operating budget of $750,000, a minimum of 1 full-time staff member, a board of directors, and a mission that benefits the Greater Charlotte community. PMA does not accept applications from organizations that promote specific political affiliations. The organization should not have been a PMA client within the past 12 months. PMA will begin accepting applications on Wednesday, November 12, 2012 with a deadline of January 10, 2013
